Drug Category: Folic acid inhibitor/sulphonamide.
Contents: DS Tabs: Trimethoprim 160mg, sulphadiazine 800mg.Susp: Per 5ml: Trimethoprim 40mg, sulphadiazine 200mg.Tabs: Trimethoprim 80mg, sulphadiazine 400mg.
Indications: Infections caused by grampositive and gram-negative organisms.
Dosage: DS Tabs: Adults: 1 tab twice daily.Susp: Adults: 20ml twice daily. Children: 6 months-5 years, 5ml; 5-12 years, 10ml. Both twice daily.
Tabs: 2 tabs twice daily.
